News and Kickstarter project

 
 Things have been super exciting around the studio. As you may have noticed I am not doing much traveling to art fairs anymore, instead I have been focusing my business on wholesaling directly to galleries and making a lot of mugs for local breweries in the Lansing area. This new model is taking off so well that I need a new kiln to expand. Below you will find a link to my Kickstarter to raise money for new kiln. I have always appreciated the support my friends and fans have showed and want you to know that I will still be doing custom orders and have the Etsy store for you to shop in. Beer Growlers !

Well , an ice covered flue and totally / ridiculously frozen closed damper says "No, you're not firing tomorrow". total pain. May try melting it off somehow, but seems like waiting another week may be best.

You can't stop me !

So, a blizzard has decided to try and Thwart my plans to fire the big kiln on Thursday. To it I say " Bugger off!" I still plan to fire, though loading tomorrow should be an adventure. I post pics when it's done.

Glazing Day !

Today is a glazing day for my first reduction firing of the season. Wish me luck (or at least sanity) glazing is my least favorite part next to mixing the glaze.
